I believe wine is a conduit to good living.  Wine connects us to our senses and to the rhythms of the natural world.  It marks time.  It goads us to travel and intimately know cultures around the globe. Most of all it, inspires us to share.  Every bottle of wine contains five glasses; we are not meant to drink wine alone.  Richard Feynman, the American physicist and Nobel Laureate, once wrote, “If we look at a glass of wine closely enough we see the entire universe.”  Wine is the primary lens through which I write about the world.

I contribute to Barron’s, Departures, PUNCH, Wine Spectator, The Daily Beast, The Daily Sip, Epicurious and Fine Cooking, among other publications.  Along the way I have earned a MA in Cultural Reporting and Criticism from NYU, a Diploma in Culinary Arts from Institute of Culinary Education, and an Advanced Certificate from the Wine and Spirits Educational Trust.
